A: Hi Dave! Thank you for your question and we apologize for the delay in response. Radon is a noble gas and under any normal condition it is "monomolecular." Any other forms do not exist under normal room temperature and conditions. It detects radon (Rn222) along with radon daughters (Po-218 and Po-214) and separates between these by measuring the energy of the detected alpha particles. Airthings Team
Q: Where is it made from? Are there counterfeits circulating around?
A: Our monitors are designed in Norway and produced in Tunisia. It is possible that counterfeits are being sold, so we highly recommend always purchasing from an authorized Airthings vendor.
A: When we added a radon remediation unit in our basement we were told the best place to put a radon detector is the breathable living space in your home which is nearest to your basement or lowest ground level.
Q: Any idea when this will be back in stock
A: Hi Cocoa, This product is in stock. Thank you for your support of our Airthings products! Airthings Team
A: Hi Glenn! This is a great question. It's essentially a calibration countdown; when you initially reset the device so it shows zero because it has already been completed. Airthings
