Q: How good is the battery on pre-owned phones? Is it changed and is it as good as on a new phone?
A: I bought two of these for gifts. One of them totally stopped working after three days. Took it to geek squad to get it fixed and they said it couldn’t be fixed. I took it to the return desk and they took it back and got a refund with no trouble. The other phone is working just fine. It’s not my phone so I don’t know exactly how long the battery would last with normal use. I haven’t had complaints about the battery. When o purchased the phones I only saved 20-30 dollars. Ended up buying a brand new phone to replace the other. They were out of stock so I had to wait for the replacement. So you’ve got a 50/50 chance it’s going to do what you want. Hope this helps

Great Phone!
My initial review gives it 4 stars overall. It’s exactly what I ordered. There were no cosmetic flaws on the phone. I will be trying out the software and iOS system to see if there are any issues or glitches. So far I am very happy with the phone. My main concern was that it would have minor cosmetic damage like scratches but it looks perfectly brand new. I will update the review if I find any software issues later. Great phone!

Misleading “Excellent Condition” – Screen Issue
I purchased a pre-owned iPhone XR for my son who wanted the same phone and color he had. That was listed as being in excellent condition. However, upon booting up the phone, I immediately noticed screen damage in the top right corner barely able to see the battery percentage. The screen distortion is clearly visible and should not be present on a device described as excellent. While the phone appears to function otherwise, I expected a flawless screen and overall better condition based on the listing. This kind of damage should have been disclosed or the condition rated more accurately. Disappointed with the misleading description and lack of transparency.

Excellent quality iPhone for a killer price!
I was on the market for a budget refurbished or pre-owned iPhone. Preferably a iPhone XR or later. Thanks to store credit, I was able to purchase this unit direct from the Best Buy website. And despite my concerns about buying a pre owned device, my fears were put to rest when I received my iPhone XR in the mail. The unit I received was in good condition with only a few minor scraps and minor domestic damage. Not a big deal really since it’s impossible to notice when the phone is put in a case. The screen was in perfect condition. And the phone performs perfectly without any technical hiccups or flaws. I highly recommend those on the market for a used iPhone to consider buying from Best Buy. You get a quality device for much less money. Including discontinued models. Also, I received codes to redeem for free trials of Apple Music, Apple News, and Apple TV. Which greatly expands the value of purchasing these products from Best Buy. Overall, highly satisfied with my purchase!
