Q: What type of ssd is this and ram
A: RAM is SAMSUNG with 8GB per piece and a total of two pieces.
Q: What motherboard is it and what is there a glass panel?
A: The motherboard is proprietary for the GL12CX desktop, it's not a retail motherboard with a model number. The glass panel is the side panel were internal parts are accessed.
Q: Can I use 2 monitors on this unit? If so, what kind of connections?
A: Yes you can connect 2 monitors. There are HDMI, display port, and even a usb-c port. I have 2 FullHD Monitors hooked up. One 144 hz and one 60 hz. Also have a Sony a6000 connected to the usb-c port as a webcam for streaming. I uploaded a pic of just the monitors hooked up so you can see the connections.
A: The machine I bought from Best Buy had the OS installed on the SSD and not the hard disk drive.
Q: Does this model include the swappable SSD tray? Also, is there an optical drive?
A: It does have the swappable SSD tray. It does NOT have the optical drive.
Q: What power supply does is unit come with and what is the manufacturer name of the memory installed?
A: The desktop comes with a 750 watt power supply unit and Hynix RAM.
Q: How many fans does the pc have
A: It has one fan in the chasis. The CPU is liquid cooled so the fan for the radiator is on the the case ceiling.
Q: Can I uograde from the 2080 to the 2080 super rather than just having a 2089 blower style in here?
A: I mean why would you want to do that? The difference in performance is less than 5% you get maybe 3-5 fps difference from the RTX 2080 to the RTX 2080S and only about 10-15 fps difference from the 2080 to the 2080 Ti on benchmarks I've seen on certain games, not worth the extra money tbh for less than a 20% performance increase.
