Audio-Technica - Audio Technica AT-VM95SP/H Headshell/Cartridge Kit - Gray

This replaced a dj stylus I used for almost ten years. Since I don’t dj anymore I wanted a new needle for listening to records. This cartridge/stylus combo is brilliant. The sound is warm and crisp. The ability to change out the needles makes this a no-brainer. At first I had a few skips but after adjusting the alignment now it sets right in the groove and plays wonderfully. I highly recommend this product or any of the combos in this line - they are all great.

I have the Audio-Technica AT-LP120XUSB-BK turntable and it came with the Audio Technica AT-VM95E/H cartridge. I bought the table in the fall of 2021, and that needle lasted until last month (March 2024) when it just bent to far, that it started making squelching noises. I feared it scratched my new Miles Davis and BROCKHAMPTON LPs. So, I at first bought the Audio Technica AT-VM95SH (no headshell), but while that is a more expensive stlyus, it's lifespan was far shorter than the Audio Technica AT-VM95ML/H. Also, I was a bit squeemish about installing the stylus into the original headshell. So I exchanged it for the Audio Technica AT-VM95ML/H with the headshell installed. So far, I have had no issues, and it was aligned perfectly. The sound is great and I do not yet regret the purchase.

Easy to connect to the arm. No hassle, sounds amazing and a more clear, makes ur music sound the way it should.

Best performaning stylus for the price, hands down. Outperforms every other stylus in the price range (and some pricier Ortofon options as well). Checked alignment after installing on my Technics SL-D1 and was pleasantly surprised to find it already dialed in.
