Good Background on Missionaries Fate
“Beyond the Gates of Splendor” gives a good background as to what happened to the Missionaries in South America and to the tribe that they helped save from extinction. This is the story from the wife of one of the sacrificed husbands. This is a good movie to watch before seeing “End of the Spear” which is the movie dramatization about the full results of the Missionary efforts.
