A: Mine was charged when I bought it. It has a charging cord that plugs in to a regular outlet like your cell phone. A small red light indicates it is charging. When the light goes off you're set. Charge seems like it lasts forever.

A: I haven't been able to use mine long enough to find out. It actually looks like it would need to be purchased. I never had a problem with it running down during the time I was using it. My problem is that after using it for one week when I went to use it it wouldn't work for longer than 5 seconds. I thought perhaps it hadn't been plugged in correctly so I checked the cords and left it for the day. However several hours later it still wouldn't work. Battery is awful.

Perfect for my car!
LIghtweight, Small, and still picks up all my dog hair. I have 2 dogs that shed quite a bit so any time they go for a carride my car gets covered. Now it cleans it up quickly. I have to change out the filter and dirt holder but thats mostly because of how much dog hair it really is.

A "MUST-HAVE" FOR PET OWNERS!!
A fantastic addition to help with the "fun" task of collecting all the "other" pets lurking all over your house or car. A pretty cool mini-vac with alot of power to capture the hints of pet-ownership that seem to be everywhere. Lightweight and portable, and no power cord or extension cord needed in the driveway. The perfect companion for the Bissell Pet Erase upright. Run out to your local Best Buy now, before they run out stock.

Died after 2 months
I have three pups and needed something that was powerful enough to suck up the dreaded dog hairs but convenient enough to use on the couches, stairs, dog bed, etc. without hauling a vacuum everywhere. My husband and I found this handheld and liked the rechargeable feature and the different attachments. After reading several positive reviews, we took it home. When it worked properly, it would hold charge for about 15 minutes, which was plenty of time for what we needed it for. However, fast forward to 2 months later, the battery began to only hold charge for about 1-2 minutes. We ended up bringing it back to Best Buy and were able to exchange it out for something else. If you decide to go with this model or brand, get the protection plan. Ours may have been defective but better to be safe than sorry.
