Q: What are the steps to actual clean the machine after using and storing?
A: I cleaned the collection compartment. Rinsed the water compartment that holds your water and soap. To make sure all the soap was out. Then the plastic cover over the brushes comes off. And can clean that and get all the clumps of hair and other debris out and clean it. Took me probably 5 minutes to clean. Was very happy with it.
Q: Can this be used on my tile floors in addition to my carpet? Thanks.
A: No. Maybe steaming to loosen up stuck on spots but can use the brush on the steamer might not work as great as it does on carpet. And be very careful using steam on tile and grouted flooring it can loosen up the grout
