The Bose TV Speaker helps you hear your TV better. It’s a small sound bar that clarifies speech and improves overall TV sound. Inside the TV speaker there are two full-range drivers angled to deliver wide, spacious sound and a center tweeter specifically focused on elevating vocals. Built-in Dolby decoding helps further enhance this compact TV speaker’s audio capabilities to deliver a more realistic and satisfying listening experience. Designed with simplicity in mind, this small soundbar only uses a single connection to the TV via an optical audio cable (included) or an HDMI cable (sold separately) and has you up and running in minutes. At just over 2" tall, the Bose TV Speaker is a compact sound bar that can be placed just about anywhere. And small LED lights on the front of this small soundbar turn on and/or change color for visual confirmation when certain features are enabled. They also blink in acknowledgement of volume changes. The Bose TV Speaker has HDMI-CEC, which allows the TV and this small soundbar to communicate when connected with an HDMI cable. Meaning when you turn the TV on, the TV speaker will automatically turn on too. With this technology, you can even keep using your current TV remote to control the volume of this compact soundbar. However, the Bose TV Speaker comes with its own remote. And on it, you can enable “dialogue mode” on the TV speaker to elevate vocals even more or press the “bass” button for some extra depth. This compact soundbar also is a Bluetooth soundbar. Simply press the Bluetooth button on the remote to pair your device to this Bluetooth TV speaker and wirelessly stream your favorite music or podcasts. You can also expand your system at any time by adding a wired subwoofer to the Bluetooth TV speaker for a more home-theater-like experience. The Bose TV Speaker is compatible with the Bose Bass Module 500 and 700 and requires the Bose Bass Module Connection Cable or a standard 3.5 mm audio cable, sold separately.

Its low-profile 23.38-inch-wide design fits comfortably beneath most TVs while delivering noticeably more presence than typical built-in television speakers. Bose emphasizes clear dialogue, balanced sound, and simple operation, making it especially well suited for everyday TV viewing, movies, news, sports, and podcasts. Inside the enclosure are three speakers, including two angled full-range drivers that help create a wider, more spacious presentation than the soundbar's compact dimensions suggest. Surround speakers cannot be added, keeping the system intentionally simple and compact. Connection to a television is straightforward. The included optical cable provides a simple one-cable setup, while HDMI ARC adds HDMI-CEC functionality that can allow a compatible TV remote to control soundbar volume and automatically power the speaker with the television. An HDMI cable is sold separately. A 3.5mm analog audio input provides another wired option for compatible sources. Bluetooth 4.2 allows the Bose TV Speaker to double as a wireless music speaker. Pair a phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth source to stream music and podcasts when the TV is off. Bose specifies a Bluetooth range of up to approximately 30 feet (9 meters). The soundbar does not require an app for normal operation; source selection, Bluetooth pairing, volume, bass adjustment, mute, and Dialogue Mode are handled through the included remote. Bose SimpleSync compatibility gives the TV Speaker another expansion option. It can play synchronized music in a one-to-one connection with compatible Bose smart speakers and soundbars, with the compatible smart product controlling the SimpleSync connection through the Bose app. The TV Speaker itself does not provide Wi-Fi, built-in voice control, Dolby Atmos, or ADAPTiQ room calibration. At only 2.21 inches tall, the Bose TV Speaker maintains a low profile that helps keep it from obstructing the bottom of the television. It can sit on a media console or be wall-mounted using the optional Bose Soundbar Wall Bracket. The metal-and-plastic enclosure weighs approximately 4.34 pounds, making it easy to integrate into bedrooms, apartments, offices, and smaller living-room setups.
