702 S3 is our 700 Series flagship: a state-of-the-art floorstanding speaker that defines standards for performance in its class. Its Carbon Dome tweeter is housed in a Solid Body Tweeter assembly, derived from 800 Series Diamond. That ensures even more realistic treble, while its decoupled midrange assembly, enhanced here with our revolutionary Biomimetic Suspension, provides outstanding midrange transparency and openness. And thanks to its downward-firing port configuration and its trio of Aerofoil Profile bass cones, 702 S3 can deliver bass that’s both profoundly deep and endlessly articulate. If you want the best in the series, this is it.

Q: What the low frequency response of this model?
A: Hello Mike, The 702 S3 offers a low-frequency extension down to 28Hz (-6dB). While is can go pretty low, we still recommend pairing it with a subwoofer for a fuller sound but these towers can stand great on their own.
Q: Does this one pair perfect with Marantz PM6004 Integrated Amplifier?
A: Hello Hung. The PM6004 integrated amplifier can drive the 702 S3 speakers if you have a smaller room space and your volume level isn't too spirited. Otherwise, I would suggest something like a Marantz Model 40n or a Model 30 if you really want to hear what the 702 S3 speakers can do.
A: Yes no issues with your rotel driving these

Didn't realize what I was missing. I've been using speakers from the 1960s and they were okay then. I had a channel go out in my Onkyo AVR so I finally decided to upgrade my system. I already had a nice turntable (a late 60s AR) along with a decent CD player. But, I also had a whole lot of old vinyl that I really wanted to listen to on a good system, so I paired these with the Marantz Cinema 40 and I could not be happier. The sound, even without a subwoofer, is quite good with a nice (but not huge) low end. Running the TV through them (the Marantz automatically starts up when the TV is turned on) is incredible. The highs and middles are incredibly clean and I can now hear the TV really well without cranking it up - a pet peeve of my wife's. Even though these have a hefty price tag, I am really pleased that I finally spent the money to get high quality sound! I highly recommend these even with the price tag.

Beautifully minimalist, with subtle style touches that tie in some classic B&W design language. Airy and spacious sound. Light and dextrous. Every finish looks spectacular. A striking "heirloom" product.
