Q: Would you recommend this speaker for use in a bathroom ceiling? Is it rated for moist conditions?
A: If the room is well-ventilated, you can shoot the grill with clear rustoleum to add protection. If the room is on the damp side (lots of steam) we recommend something like the CCM363 or one of our Marine speakers like the Marine 6.
Q: Can this speaker be used as a center channel in a 7.1 setup?
A: Yes it can.
A: These do not include a backbox. The BB6C is available to be used with this speaker, but it is really intended for either pre-construction or the kind of renovation where you are removing large sections of drywall.. You'll also need the accompanying PMKC6 to go with that back box.
Q: Best speaker wire for these ?
A: Our suggestion is a 16 gauge, 2 conductor copper wire (16/2) with a slippery jacket (outer cover) that makes it easy to pull through a wall or ceiling. A CL2 rated cable is fine for most homes.
Q: What receiver needs to go with 8 ceiling speakers
A: undefined
Q: Does this speaker come with a magnetic grill to cover the speaker? Assuming if it does, it's white?
A: Yes to all. Magnetic, and a white/off white that goes well with your regular ceiling paint.
