Added before your drywall is installed, this fire rated backbox is used to reduce sound transmission between room in your home. As an example, very useful if you tend to have parties in the kitchen when the baby's room is in the room next door. Compatible with all CI300 and CI600 in-wall models. Must be used with a matching PreMountKit. See below for more information.
