Need a single mode jumper for a 10G SFP+ LR port where space behind the port is tight? This Cable Leader OS2 LC to LC fiber patch cable, also sold as a single mode fiber optic cable or LC duplex patch cord, uses Corning 9/125 G657A1 bend-insensitive glass in a 2.0 mm LSZH/OFNR riser-rated zipcord with short-boot LC/UPC connectors, insertion loss 0.30 dB or less, return loss 55 dB or better. OS2 fiber carries 1000BASE-LX and 10GBASE-LR links up to 10 km under IEEE 802.3, and the 19.5 mm short boot needs less clearance than a standard LC boot, so 48 ports on a 1U switch stay serviceable. Compatible with 10GBASE-LR and 1000BASE-LX LC single mode transceivers from Cisco, Ubiquiti UniFi, MikroTik, TP-Link, Netgear, Dell, HPE Aruba and Intel X520 network cards, and LC duplex patch panels. Each cable is sample-tested during production, and Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly. Best for: 10G LR uplinks between floors or buildings, dense 1U switch faceplates, LC patch panel jumpers. Not for: SR or SX multimode optics on aqua OM3 or OM4 fiber, green APC ports, or Toslink audio.
Corning 9/125 OS2 single mode glass carries 10GBASE-LR and 1000BASE-LX links up to 10 km under IEEE 802.3. The G657A1 bend-insensitive grade tolerates the tight routing in cable managers and slack spools without the loss spikes of standard G652D fiber, and stays fully compatible with existing G652D plant.
Two LC/UPC ceramic-ferrule connectors at each end with a 19.5 mm short boot, visibly shorter than a standard LC boot, so the cable bends away sooner behind a loaded 1U switch or patch panel. Insertion loss is 0.30 dB or less and return loss 55 dB or better per connector at 1310 nm and 1550 nm.

The 2.0 mm duplex zipcord jacket is LSZH/OFNR rated: low-smoke zero-halogen material limits toxic emissions in enclosed equipment rooms, and the OFNR riser rating permits vertical runs between floors. Aramid yarn strength members and a tight buffer protect each fiber, and numbered boots make polarity easy to trace in a dense rack.
Every cable is sample-tested during production for insertion loss and return loss, then packed one per zip bag with the connectors capped. If your cable arrives defective or stops working in normal use, Cable Leader handles replacement requests directly, no manufacturer redirects.
