Canon - 225 Ink Cartridge - Black

Always purchase the replacement ink cartridges made by Canon for my Canon printers. Do not want to take a chance using "after-market" ink and possibly clogging or damaging the ink jet.

These ink cartridges are easy to remove and insert. They also last a lot longer than you would expect given their size. I have never had a problem using these cartridges and if you buy on Tuesday they are an extra 10% off!

After a few years of buying off-brand (cheap) ink cartridges and having all kinds of problems with smudged, unreadable printouts, I've learned to just splurge and buy the real cartridges from Canon, at least for the black ones. You might be able to get away with the cheap stuff for color. Now I have confidence that boarding passes, documents and bar codes will print cleanly. This cartridge was actually a few dollars less than listed, also had just received a 5 dollar off coupon so pretty reasonable price.

Canon ink cartridges do a fine job when used in my Canon printer. i have never had a problem with clogs or blobs of ink on my photos. The main problem with Canon ink cartridges, as with all ink cartridges, is that they are too expensive. As a result, it is always less expensive to have photos printed at Wal-Mart or Target than it is to print them myself. At home I print only photos I need in a hurry. If I don't need a print immediately I go to Wal-Mart to have photos printed.

This cartridge is very easy to load and seems to last longer than other ink cartridges.
