If one of the protection circuits comes on, it will change to red. AUTO TURN ON: The AUTO TURN ON circuit is for high level (speaker-level) connections. When the switch is in the “REM” position, you MUST use a solid 12 volts to switch on. If you have no hard switched 12 volts (like the ignition key or an aftermarket radio switch 12V output) then use either the VOX (signal sensing) or DC offset (looks at the difference between power and signal ground). VARIABLE PHASE: 0-180 degrees of adjustment to help compensate for time alignment problems in the system. Such problems usually result from having the subwoofer at a different distance from the listener than the other speakers in the system. This will effectively “move” the sound of the subwoofer forward in the vehicle. This takes 2 people to adjust.
