Chamberlain - myQ Smart Garage Control - White

I used to think I'd need to replace my whole garage door opener to have a smart one, but this product gave me the same functionality, very affordably! It was easy to set up. I just followed the instructions on the screen. The hardest part was figuring out where the learn button was on my existing opener so I could pair the MyQ. This doesn't replace my existing garage door remote but gives an addition remote control option. Now my teenagers can open the garage with the MyQ app on their phones, and I can open or cost it remotely. If I'm ever worried I forgot to close it, the app quickly eases my mind or takes care of that for me. I have the app set to require a long press to open the door, to prevent accidentally opening it. You can even schedule your garage door to close at certain time if you like to leave it open during the day but close it at night. An installation note: The instructions say you can't leave the receiver on a shelf and it needs to be attached to the garage wall and specifically says not to put it on a shelf. I temporarily placed it on a shelf above the outlet and it's been working flawlessly for a few weeks.

Lost my opener (fell out of car door panel) and cost for new replacement unit is excessive..., bought Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Control and now can open door on multiple phones to monitor as well - terrific device! Not-too-difficult to understand and set up; really excellent and useful device

Awesome Wi-Fi garage opener and very easy to setup! I was up and running in 15 minutes hooking this up to my 15 year old Craftsman garage door opener. The package contains one hub and one sensor to control one garage door. The hub can control 2 doors, so if you have 2 doors, you will have to buy an additional sensor

It's a great addition to any smart home. I have a Lift Master motor and this thing connected to it easily. We're also renting and this was simple to set up. The transmitter attaches to the corner of the garage door with double sided 3M tape. The hub doesn't have to be mounted on the ceiling. I have mine mounted on the wall opposite the big garage door. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because there's been a 5 minute delay when the door opens or closes to when I get notified on my phone. A lot can happen in those 5 minutes.

Definitely does what it advertised. Let’s you open and close from phone also alerts you when opened or closed. Let’s people deliver to garage. Only sometimes you have to open and close the app for it to work. Reasonable price for peace of mind of breakins or “did I leave the garage open.” Picture of app.
