Chirp - Sole Vibe Heated Foot Massager - Slate

I got this as a hail mary for my plantar fasciitis before throwing in the towel and making a doctor appointment. Let's just say... I haven't had to make the appointment!! At the end of a long day walking and standing, I turn on my show and my foot massager. Thank you, Chirp!!!! (Also, I didn't think the heating feature would be a big deal, but it feels INCREDIBLE.)

I am an avid runner (2-3 miles every other day) and the miles have been rough over the years so I am always looking for a hack to keep me moving. Arch pain and the ball of my foot are the primary pain areas. I have compression boots and they are great but take a little time to get on and work the feet a little but does not target them like the sole vibe does. What I liked about the Chirp Sole Vibe was that I could grab it quickly and put a foot on it and use it quickly to relax and sooth the arch and ball of my foot and be done with out a 45 minute ordeal. I like to use it about 15 minutes after a run to let my feet settle a bit. I also grab it when I am sitting on the couch streaming a show or at my desk working. It is very versatile and easy to use just about anywhere you can take a shoe off. Got it out of the box and it charges USB C so it’s universal and charges quick anywhere. They say it has a 3 hour charge with heat level 2 and vibe level 4 which is way more time than I would ever use it. But it would last two weeks on a charge the way I use it. It has an acupuncture style studded side which I like a lot. It feels amazing on the arch of the foot and the ball and the heal! The other side is a “hot stone” kind of raised half round on it. It really puts out the heat and fits the foot perfectly on the arch, ball and heal. It heats up quick and feels amazing. I’m not sure which side I like better. The vibration is strong and I find that the medium setting feels best for me. It has three preset vibration patters they claim refreshes, increases circulation and a deep release. Not sure how they know that but science right…regardless… I like them all but prefer just the standard manual vibration setting to 2. The vibration, heat and acupuncture side all work in tandem to really provide relief to my feet and helps me keep on trucking the miles! Bonus: I have also used this on my shoulder, glutes and calf muscles. The heat it really nice with a low vibration. I did not expect that when I got it but it is a nice plus. Over all this is a really helpful and useful quick action renew tool that is going to get used a lot in the gym. Easy to transport, durable and really makes my feet feel better. NOTE: It is water resistance like sweat ect but not submergible in water. It also has a handy QR code for tips. If your active and like running… This needs to be in your bag!

So I work out at least 3 days a week and i usually do full body. That always includes cardio at the end of my work outs. I also clean buildings for a living up to 6 days a week for a few hours a day. So like many people I’m on my feet and very active, always have been and hopefully always will be. So when I saw this little chirp heated foot massager I had to give it a shot. I’ve heard good things about this company. I can say with confidence that they build their products very well and with a lot of thought and technology in mind. This foot massager works very well with several different settings and options to suit everyone whether you are an athlete like myself or just a hard working person. You can keep it simple with raising the intensity of the vibration and the heat. Though the heat only works on the stone shape side. Which in my opinion makes sense but I would have loved to have the ability to use it on both. You also have preset buttons that are not simply brute forcing the vibration. The massager can be very strong if you are not used to it so it’s great that they implemented the 3 preset buttons. Your feet will feel better after using it but I found that it can be too much at higher levels. Also the hot part kinda hurts my feel but the heat feels great and does soothe the aches so it’s fine. Also I have sensitive feet if I’m honest lol. I tried to use this on my calve and it is a little awkward imo. Battery life is amazing after using for about 5 days and about an hour or so a day. I think most will like this and find it useful but for me it’s a bit underwhelming and cumbersome to use as well. It’s priced fairly for the top notch build quality and it actually helping sore feet and calves. I would definitely like it more if it was a 2 of these in one and could do both feet and/or calves at the same time.

Off the charts. Gaming Sessions: Nothing says “peak luxury” like dropping enemies in a game while your feet are getting pampered. It’s ridiculous. It’s amazing. I regret nothing. Before Bed Five minutes on the heat setting before bed feels like a warm hug for your feet. It’s become part of my nightly routine, right between brushing my teeth and pretending I’ll go to bed early. Build Quality: Surprisingly Fancy for Something You Step On: Slate finish looks sleek and modern. Textured pads feel great even with socks. Doesn’t slide around like it’s trying to escape Controls are simple enough that you can operate them half‑asleep. It’s durable, easy to clean, and doesn’t look like medical equipment — A huge win. Pros & Cons (with personality) Pros: Heat + vibration = instant foot happiness Quiet enough for stealth desk massages Multiple intensity levels for “ahh” to “whoa” Looks good in any room Makes you feel like you’re living a slightly fancier life Cons: Heat takes a minute to warm up. No remote — you have to bend down. Big feet might feel like they’re squeezing into economy seating. Verdict: The Chirp Sole Vibe is one of those purchases you justify by saying, “I work hard, I deserve this,” and then immediately realize you were absolutely right. It’s simple, effective, and way more relaxing than it has any right to be. If your feet are tired, sore, or just dramatic, this thing delivers. It’s the kind of product you try once and instantly think, “Okay, this is staying plugged in forever.”

I have always had foot issues after I turned 35ish. By the time I hit 50, I had arthritis in my feet but also issues ranging from plantar to general arch pain, top of foot pain, etc. Now that I am over 60, I have tried to become healthier. I have always been a walker, but now that I have lost a lot of weight, I am now walking/light running over 30 miles per week and averaging around 15K steps per day. This has caused my feet to really take a beating on a regular basis. I have tried those larger foot massagers, even the foot bath things with massaging and heat for the water. None of them really worked well, but more importantly, they were all big, bulky and unable to really leave out and use regularly. When I saw the Chirp, I must admit I was a bit skeptical, especially when I looked at the size it was going to be. Unboxing was interesting. This thing is solid, built extremely well and sturdy, much more so than I expected. It has weight to it, but it needs to so that you can put weight on it. It has a buttery smooth rubber coating that is solidly on the device. There is no chance of this coming off, getting loose or cracking. It has two distinct sides. One side has raised nubs that are made to fit the foot but as I will state in a minute, I also use it on my ankle, calves, knees and thighs. The other side has what is call the “Hot Stone” side. It is basically a roughly ½ inch raised 1-inch large nub that is used to push the heat into anything using that side. There are 3 levels of massage intensity. These are all high-quality massaging intensity. There are two levels of heat. The heat on this thing is amazing! It really heats up, more so than any other foot device with heat that I have ever had. Let me tell you, your feet may be tough, and you can take the heat on them, but I love the higher heat when I am doing my calves, back of knee and back side of my thigh. I also love to lay the heat side on the top of my ankle with a light vibration. It really helps to bring relief after a long walk/run combo. It comes with 3 pre-defined “programs”. They are: Refresh- for general foot pain and soreness; Circulation- Stimulates Blood Flow; Deep Release- Release tension is muscles and tendons. I really like all three, but I do tend to up the massage levels if I want more than the program has. Each of the programs oscillates differently for the variety of refreshing massage and heat. I have even held this on my back of my next and it is wonderful. I think the key for this device is the size and ease of use and I can easily store it beside my chair out of the way, and you don’t even know it’s there. This ensures that you use it! I would highly recommend this to others. I have used this every single day/evening since I got it. It charges quickly via USB-C.
