Q: What is the difference in the CIR5001 and CIR2001 models?
A: Thanks for asking! The difference is in the subscription length. The CIR2001 model comes with a 1 year subscription to premium features and the CIR5001 comes with a 3 month subscription. The 1 year model is currently at a discount so go for it while supplies last!
Q: Do I need a monthly or yearly subscription to use this product?
A: You do need a subscription for all the features. The basic features, Filter, Usage time, and History of where someone went on the internet don't require a subscription but there are a lot of other features that do, like pause, bedtime, screen off time, time limits per app, etc.
Q: Can this handle upload and download speeds of 100mbps or greater for gaming?
A: Yes. I have been able to speediest 900/940 on my connection with this device attached.
Q: Does this have to be plug into my interent box?
A: Yes, you have to connect it to your router to use it.
