Important compatibility note: The CP-8800-A-KEM is designed exclusively for Cisco IP Phone 8851, 8851NR, and 8861 audio models — it is not compatible with the Cisco IP Phone 8865 or any other 8800 Series model. The Cisco IP Phone 8800 Key Expansion Module extends desk phone productivity for administrative assistants, receptionists, executives, and call-center agents who need instant visibility and control over multiple lines. The module attaches directly to the host phone in a side-by-side configuration using the included foot stand and all required hardware. It adds 14 illuminated physical buttons per page with two pages accessible via dedicated page keys, for a total of 28 programmable keys per module — assignable as directory numbers, speed-dial shortcuts, or programmable feature keys. The 3.5-inch graphical TFT color display with 16-bit color depth and 320 x 480 pixel resolution provides clear line-status identification at a glance. Illuminated buttons display real-time call states: dark for available, steady green for in-use, steady red for shared-line activity, and amber flashing for ringing. The module draws power directly from the host phone over PoE — no separate power supply required — and enters sleep mode in sync with the connected phone. Requires Cisco IP Phone 8800 firmware 12.0.1.11 or later and Cisco Unified Communications Manager 10.5(2) or later.
