I’ve never been a fan of corsair headsets. These have literally blew my mind. These are so good and sound amazing. Mic is pretty good as well. Very happy with the purchase and results. Good job Corsair.

This headset gives out proper gamer vibes with its RGB accents, yet the metal/black finish gives it a sleek look. I don’t like it when the branding is loud, but I appreciate the glossy logo on the cups and light, subtle branding on the headband. Although made almost entirely out of plastic, the build quality is pretty solid, and there is no creaking at all. I will say that these headphones are some of the most comfortable I’ve worn in a while. I finally had a chance to use them for more than 6 hours and I did not experience any discomfort on the top of my head and lower jaw (where it usually hurts). Because of the light clamping force and super soft breathable pads, my ears stayed cool at all times. I wear glasses and I barely noticed them. I must point out that the RGB is reflected on my glasses which are a bit distracting at night, so I have to turn it off. This headset offers multiple connectivity options. I was able to use them with my PC, laptop, and X-Box X via the 2.4Hz dongle with no hassle. I also connected easily to my phone and Switch 2 via Bluetooth, which can be used simultaneously. The box said it could connect to the PS5 but had too many issues doing so. What impressed me the most was the range of this headset via the dongle. I was able to go into the kitchen and did not miss the online conversation -I even responded without issues! The audio quality out of the box is quite good in my opinion. The bass is booming and has plenty of subwoofer quality. The midrange is noticeably recessed but can still come through when needed. The treble adds much needed clarity and sparkle to counter the bass. This adds a fun quality to action games and movies. The soundstage is expansive and natural due to the breathable pads. Imaging is good, especially when paired with ATMOS (PC and X Box only). The sound can be adjusted via the iCue app, which helped in certain FPS games where bass can be lowered in order to hear crucial sounds like steps. When it comes to music the audio is just OK. It just has too much bass when listening on Bluetooth for my taste. I mainly used Bluetooth to answer calls. Speaking of software, I strongly recommend downloading the iCue software. There, you can update firmware, customize the rocker button, change RGB, and adjust the microphone’s volume/sidetone. One thing to note is that any changes made are not saved to the headset, so it only applies to the PC where they were changed, which is a bummer. The microphone is very, very good; both via the dongle and Bluetooth. It is super clear and allows very little outside noise to come through. However, I did notice that my voice sounded a bit too tinny due to compression. I do not have an Nvidia card, but I read that it gets better with the Broadcast app. The battery life is outstanding. I had it for a few days and, having forgotten to charge it after unboxing, I still have not had the need to do so. Corsair claims over 70 hours, and I am inclined to believe that. Overall, I am very impressed with the premium features, build, and sound quality -all at a very competitive value.

This review is for the Corsair Void Max wireless V2 gaming headset. It is designed for XBOX but will work with all the main platforms PC, MAC, PlayStation, Switch, or Mobile. It has a battery life of up to 70 hours, so I’ve never run out of battery life yet. Only putting it on the charging once a week when I’m offline. I find it to be lightweight and very comfortable. The ear cushions are made of memory foam and are very comfortable even after wearing them for hours for some longer gaming sessions. The sound comes from dynamic 50mm drivers. And delivers a crisp clean sound. It also has a omni-directional microphone with a flip to mute. This is a must have feature for me. I have tried some headsets that don’t have this. When things get too loud around me I can quickly and easily just flip the microphone so my squad can’t hear me. So if you get a phone call or just need to chat with someone in your room. You can do so with out missing a beat and making unwanted noise for your team. It is both 2.4Ghz and Bluetooth. Comes with a USB dongle for the 2.4Ghz and a USB-C charging cable. I am able to walk around my house and haven’t lost connection. So I can still hear what’s going on when I need to run and get a drink or help one of my kids out. If you are in the market for a new headset or this is your first one. I would give these a try. I have been very happy with them so far. I’ve had other wireless headsets that had poor signal, bad sound quality and choppy mics. This set has been good all around.
