    Nice floor AC

    Very nice. It works well and I love the WiFi feature. It cools a large room too in a decent amount of time. The reason for 4 stars is because a set of the bolt, screw and nut was missing and I contacted Costway and I have to wait a month to receive it.

    Dependable spot cooling

    Has worked like a charm and covers a decent load. An added benefit would to offer a internal condensation pump to discharge condensate water remotely to a sink or drain

  • does this unit have to be vented outside ,costway 15000 portable ac

    Yes it will work the best to vent it to the outside, otherwise you will have hot exhaust air blowing right back into the room.

  • WHAT IS THE POWER REQUIREMENT: 115 V OR 230 V?

    115V but if you don't have and open outlet near the cooler you may need a thicker gauge extension cord. I had this problem with a similar unit, the compressor would kick on for a few minutes and then shut off. A different outlet and an extension cord fixed it.

  • Device keeps turning off and displaying code E8 on the front panel. An unplug and replug after a few minutes works for about 10 min before it happens again. Why?

  • Does this unit require a drainage bucket or pan? This was not addressed in the description, yet upon receipt, it appears to need inside drainage. We have 2 other units which do not require drainage, so I am disappointed w/ this feature.
