Both charging coasters use the same charging technology so you can charge the first-generation Ceramic Mug (both the 10 oz and 14 oz) on the second-generation Travel Mug coaster and vice versa!
Q: Can this be used in a car? or does it need 120V?
A: Hi Rob, thanks for reaching out! Our apologies - the Ember is only able to charge with a wall outlet currently and it cannot charge in the car. Rest assured, the charging coaster will come equipped with a wall adapter that can accept anything between 100VAC and 240VAC
