    • Digital Keystone Correction: true ("Keystone effect" refers to the distortion of an image when it is projected on an angled surface or when the projector is positioned too high or too low from the center of the display. Projectors with a digital keystone correction feature are able to scale the image as needed before it is projected, resulting in the correct image orientation no matter where it is displayed.)

    • Maximum Aperture: f/1.72 (The limit to how wide a lens can be open, typically expressed in f-numbers. The smaller the number, the larger the aperture and the more light that can enter the lens. A larger aperture creates a shallower depth of field, helpful for keeping subjects in focus and blurring background details.)
    • Optical Zoom: 1.1x (The optical zoom uses a combination of lenses that magnify the image prior to it being registered at high resolution by the imaging sensor.)

Q: I’m looking for a projector with screen size versatility. I would like to know how small I could make the image and still be clear. Specifically, if I project onto a canvas size of about 16-20 inches, would I still be able to see the image clearly?

A: Hi HipsArt, The closest you can move the Home Cinema 2200 to the screen is 32.76". This will result in a 30" diagonal image, or 15.9" High x 25.44" Wide. At that distance, the image will be very bright. It may be necessary to turn the brightness setting down. The maximum image size for the HC 2200 is 300" measured diagonally. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

Q: Do I need to purchase a ceiling mount separately?

A: Hello Luke. Yes, it is sold separately as an accessory for the projector. The correct part number for the mount is ELPMBPJG. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Q: I have same Epson - Home Cinema 2200, how do I give sound output through HDMI to my Sound system 5.1 Sony. And My Sound System doesnt have Receiver, my Sound system mode name is Song BDV e3200 Blu-ray Home Theatre System. I need sound only from HDMI.

A: Hi, The Home Cinema 2200 has a 3.5 mm stereo audio output port. If you cannot connect the audio from there to your speakers, another option is to purchase an HDMI audio extractor. You can use it to send video the the projector and audio to your speakers. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

Q: I am looking to use this to set up in our office for a conference room meetings. Does this have capabilities to add in a bluetooth keyboard and mic? Can I connect a webcam to this?

A: Hello Madi623. The Home Cinema 2200 includes Bluetooth connectivity for external speakers. Unfortunately, this projector does not support the connection of keyboards, mics, and webcams. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

Q: Can I connect wireless speakers via bluetooth or wifi? I'd like to pair a projector with my Sonos move speakers.

A: Hello CJM0. Yes, the Home Cinema 2200 can connect to Bluetooth speakers. Please visit our official Epson Support page and download the User's Guide to find more information on connecting your speaker to the projector. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.
