I ordered this AC to replace an old one... Originally I was going to stay with the same BTUs but the bigger the unit the more of a sale... So I went with this 25,000btu .. Thinking that bigger is better... Although they say when it comes to AC that that isn't true.... I beg to differ.. When I looked up this AC it wasn't considered energy efficient.... But when I actually got it... The manufacturer placed a sticker on top stating that this models had been changed to have a high energy star rating....that the unit shuts off completely. I was really happy to see that... Also when looking into this unit it didn't mention that you have the option to select air (as in vents) which it does.. So You can close the vent completely thus recirculating the inside air or having fresh air or both.. And I love this cuz I live on the first floor and don't want to smell ppl smoke or garbage... Plus if the vents are closed then it's cooling air that has been cooled thus working less or being even more energy saving... This unit is very quiet.. The only thing I hear is the force of air shooting from the AC which isn't that loud... My sons AC is a 5,000btu in his room and I can hear the compressor kick in. This AC cools down very quickly. If you were to stand directly in front you'd freeze... It's like sticking your whole body in the freezer on a hot day... This unit cools down the whole floor comfortably...it feels like central air... The are no cold or hot spots in my home... I'd say my first floor is about 1060sqft. This unit also came with heat option.. 1) I don't have the need for it... 2) it's summer... Lol Oh and it's a 220v/30a plug...

Heats and cools like a champ. The remote makes it so easy to adjust whenever needed

The product does what it promises to do. It cools the house very well. I haven't had much opportunity to use the heat yet, because, well, this is South Florida. My only complaint is that it's noisy when it turns on, which is common with wall units.
