Q: Can this unit be used in the wall or just a window?
A: I installed mine through the wall. I am pretty capable handy-man wise but there was nothing about the unit that required anything other than a hole in the wall with strong enough structure to hold this 150lb unit.
Q: my air conditioner blows out ice. how can i stop this?

A dirty air filter may affect your unit’s cooling performance. Do you run your a/c unit at night? The Temperature may be set too low for night-time cooling. Try setting the temperature to a higher setting. If you notice any frost forming on your unit’s coils, set to FAN ONLY mode to defrost the coil.
