Perfect lends
I’ve been using the GF30mm F3.5 R WR for a few weeks now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite lenses in the GFX lineup. From the moment I mounted it, I was impressed by how lightweight and well-balanced it feels, especially on a medium format system it’s a joy to carry for long walks or travel shoots. In terms of performance, this lens is fast and incredibly sharp. Autofocus is snappy and reliable, making it great for both street and landscape photography. The sharpness across the frame is outstanding, even wide open at f/3.5, with beautiful micro-contrast and color rendering that really takes full advantage of the GFX sensor. The build quality is solid, weather-resistant, and feels premium, just like you’d expect from Fujifilm’s GF lenses. If you’re looking for a high-performing wide-angle prime that won’t weigh you down, the GF30mm F3.5 delivers in every way. Highly recommended.
