This is an affordable GPS. I purchased it to replace a GPSmap 62S. It has similar functions but works them a bit differently. After using it for a few weeks I would say the cons are that it is much slower than the older GPSmap, and thumb stick controller isn't easy to use. That being said, the included maps are excellent. It works perfectly well for what I use it for, but it is slow and the controls can be difficult to use. I would only recommend it if one cannot afford the much better GPSmap series.
