Garmin - Varia RearVue 820 Tail Light + Edge 1050 Cycling Computer + Varia Vue Cycling Headlight Camera - Black

The Garmin Varia RearVue 820 radar tail light combines rear-view radar detection with a high-visibility safety light in a single compact device. Designed for road cyclists, commuters, and endurance riders, it helps improve situational awareness by tracking approaching vehicles from behind and delivering alerts through compatible Garmin devices or the Varia smartphone app. The integrated radar detects vehicles up to 175 meters away with a wide field of view, giving riders earlier notice of traffic approaching from the rear. When paired with supported Edge cycling computers or select Garmin smartwatches, the system can display vehicle distance, relative speed, and threat level. Alerts can also be delivered through visual, audible, or haptic notifications depending on the connected device. A bright tail light provides visibility from up to 2 km away, helping drivers spot cyclists sooner in both daytime and low-light conditions. The automatic brake light feature detects when you slow down and activates a distinct flash pattern, improving communication with traffic behind you. With up to 24 hours of battery life in day flash mode, the system supports long rides and daily commutes without constant charging. This bundle includes essential mounting and charging accessories, creating a ready-to-use safety solution for cyclists who want improved rear-view awareness and visibility on the road. Varia RearVue 820 is the rearview radar and tail light that alerts you to approaching vehicles on your compatible Edge cycling computer, Garmin smartwatch or Varia app on your smartphone. With our most powerful and precise radar tracking technology, it detects vehicle size and threat level with a wider field of view. The radar tracking technology identifies vehicles that are following cyclists at the same speed or attempting to pass (same-speed tracking is limited or may be unavailable at slower speeds or when the radar cannot detect the road because of weather conditions or obstructions). The tail light is visible from up to 2 km (1.24 miles) away and has a unique brake light flash pattern to alert other road users when you’re slowing down or stopping. For peace of mind and awareness on the longest of rides, get up to 24 hours of battery life in day flash mode and up to 30 hours of battery life in radar-only mode.

See it and save it with the Varia Vue headlight camera. It records crisp, clear video in 4K and saves footage automatically if it detects an incident (requires memory card, not included; jurisdiction restrictions may apply). The headlight has up to 600 lumens of light intensity and side illumination. Other smart features include a cutoff beam and auto brightness control that adjusts to your speed and light conditions when paired with your compatible Edge cycling computers. Varia Vue has up to 7 hours of battery life in day flash mode with camera recording. Simultaneously record rear-facing footage with your Varia RCT715 radar camera tail light. With the Varia app, you can also control camera and light functions, edit videos and add data overlays. For secure video storage and automatic uploads of locked footage from your device via Wi-Fi connectivity, subscribe to Garmin Vault (free trial offered for new users).
