I love the look of this hood in my new home. I have 9' Ceilings and the vent cover that came with it was about 2" short. Seems like GE could account for 9' ceilings in thier original packing. I had to purchase an extension kit for 159.00 but over all, It looks Great. The picture i have is before the extension kit came in.

I got this for my new house, and my family makes dinner at home almost everyday. This takes out the fumes from all the oil and spices used in Indian food. I have never heard any one say I smell like a particular dish after I got this. It’a a good buy!

Love the GE vent good! We had to buy the GE extension for 10 ft ceilings which they also sell at best buy.

Great good looking. Works well. Place it on the walls and mark the holes. That's the best way to mount it.

Very easy to install. Looks sleek and modern. Runs quiet and the 2 light settings are also very useful for cooking at different times of the day. The purchase process was easy online and delivery was on time!

Just had it installed. Goes great with my Samsung Refrigerator. Exhaust is strong. Gives a great new look to my kitchen. We did not exhaust to the outside. Works great. I have 9 foot ceiling and the chimney fit perfect. The LED lights are bright. It is very simple to operate. Would recommend it to anyone. Great look.

I like the look of the hood. Real simple, clean look. I also like that there isn't a large GE symbol on the hood so there are no issues mixing/matching with current appliance. Multiple settings for the fan and lights are nice. I Also like that the lights are in front of the hood so it covers the entire stove. My only real negative is that the vent cover that goes from the hood to the ceiling isn't one long piece so there is a seam. Not real noticeable but I know its there.

We shopped around looking at different hoods. We decided on this one. It looks great in the kitchen and runs very quietly and all three speeds. We like having the two options with the lights. Nothing bad to say about this one. Looks great.

Love this hood - the look of it really modernizes my kitchen and it's quiet enough that it isn't annoying from a sound perspective when it's on full speed.

This GE 30” convertible chimney hood vent is supposed to come with a remote control. The remote was not in the box. I am waiting to hear from GE about getting it replaced. Except for missing remote, this is a really nice vent, quiet. Works well.

it does the job average, but it is noisy as he#%. The lighting is good. I use the lowest setting and it sounds like it is on high compared to the one we replaced. But it sucks out the steam and smoke from cast iron grilling.

I love the look of the range hood and how It's updated the look of my kitchen. The exhaust fan works great. I gave it 4 stars because there are 2 light bulbs and the right one stopped working the first week I had it and I haven't found a place to purchase a new one yet. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with my choice.

Once it was mounted to the wall it worked, and continues to work well. The difficulty was in the installation. It eventually required some pros after i tinkered with it for a bit.

Great looking good to match the rest of our appliances. Does the job and has bright light to go with it

So far I have no complaints about this hood. I like the sleek design and the multiple fan speeds.
