A: There is no steam coming from the burners or the oven when the oven door is closed. The oven door handle is room temperature.
A: This model does not require a water line for installation, as the Steam Clean feature is enabled by pouring one cup of water onto the bottom of the oven. A: The overall height is 47-1/4” to the top of the backsplash. Q: Does the standard Bake option use both the upper and lower heating elements to bake?
A: This model has a 4-pass hidden bake element at the bottom of the oven and a 4-pass broil element at the top. During Conventional Bake, heat comes from the bake and broil elements.
Q: Can you cook with cast iron on stove top
A: We don’t recommend using cast iron on this cooktop unless it’s designed specifically for glass cooktops. Cast iron is slower to absorb heat and may also scratch the surface. We have suggestions about what cookware to use on the cooktop starting on page 15 of the manual; that can be viewed on our GE Appliances website when you look up the model number, go to the product’s page and view the Owner Support section.
Q: Does this oven have a delay start

GE Electric Range, a Enhancing Addition
We received delivery today (04/28/2025. Although we have not yet prepared any meals, preliminary tests/checks have led us to at this time give our GE Electric Convection range this rating. One problem was noticed upon delivery was that the drawer on the lower right bottom side was damaged. This was reported to Best Buy by the delivering personnel and a replacement drawer was requested. But as of now the range is a enhancing addition to our kitchen.

Drawer Defect
I like the stove but the drawer has plastic pieces that’s supposed to guard and secure it to the stove. The pieces were falling off the drawer as the Technician was placing them on there and they are still not connected at all. I was told this stove was coming directly from the factory. So why is the drawer not connecting to the stove properly? It’s very frustrating because I’m unable to use it. I’ve already replaced a stove that I had use of for only 5 months and I had several canceled appointments before receiving this one. I’m highly disappointed.i really need this taken care of so that I can fully enjoy this Range.
