Q: What is the height from the bottom rack to the top broiler ?

A: Hello Stang - Thank you for the excellent question on our oven. The usable height in the top oven with the rack in the lowest position, is 5-1/2". The same measurement in the bottom oven is 10-1/2". Let us know if you have any more questions. - JB

Q: Does it come with the power cord or do I need to purchase one?

A: Hi Kim - Thanks for reaching out. We appreciate your interest in this electric double wall oven and are happy to answer this for you! Electric wall ovens cannot be installed with a plug and receptacle (power cord). Instead, they come equipped with a 40” or 54” long conduit to "hard wire" the appliance in. You can learn more about the required electrical connections on pages 6-8 of the oven's Installation Guide. Please feel free to reach back out if you have any additional questions about features of this oven or using it in the future. We hope that this helps to clarify! -Eliza@GEA

Q: I read that the bottom slide rack does not slide out over the door and since it doesn't pull out hinders cleaning under the rack and makes it hard to lift anything heavy out, especially if mounted under a cooktop. Has or will this problem be solved?

A: Hi Lynnmc - Thanks for reaching out to us and for your interest! Most roller racks are partial extension racks, which means they have a single rail on each side and pull out about 3/4" of the way (approximately 11"). It extends over approximately half of the door. You can view additional photos at GEApplianceds.com - Also, the extension rack can be removed for cleaning underneath or it can remain in the oven during the self-cleaning cycle. See Owner's Manual for details: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-80786-1.pdf - Keep in touch! Sue

Q: Can you tell me why a gas cooktop is not approved to be used with this oven. We are doing some remodeling and have an existing gas cooktop that we wanted to use and install the GE profile 30" below it. Thank you, bennythehill

A: Hi there - we’re glad you reached out! This combination is not an Underwriters Laboratory (UL) approved combination. This is due to the double oven design, as well as compatibility with the physical design of gas cooktops. For UL approved combinations, search the GE Appliances website for the article titled “Cooking Appliance Installation Combinations” in the Support section. This article has combinations listed by model number to help you find the best pairings for your set up. We hope this is informative and please reach out anytime with additional questions. Have a great day! Lauren@GEAppliances

Q: I just had this oven installed. When I use the bake feature in either oven the fan runs constantly. Is this normal? Is there a way to turn the fan off? I thought the fan was for convection use.

A: Hello Kim, Great question! We first want to thank you for choosing GE Appliances. We'd be elated to help you with your convection wall oven. We found that the fan running after it is used is completely normal. The cooling fan will turn on to cool for 1.5 hours after the oven is turned off. If you believe your fan is making an abnormal noise or is running longer than 1.5 hours, we recommend scheduling service. Information on normal noises and other troubleshooting tips can be found in the following link: (Page 23) https://files.bbystatic.com/4WF2fbcl%2FY%2F81APZVI5dGg%3D%3D/5871325_um1.pdf Service can be scheduled on our website, or by calling 1-800-432-2737, (Mon-Fri 7 am – 10 pm ET, Sat-Sun 8 am – 6 pm ET). We hope this information helps. If there are any more questions, please reach out to us using the link on our website, or on social media. Have a great day! -Sylvia@GEA

Q: Spec sheet says the KW rating of this is only 3.9KW at 240V. Installation instructions say that only needs a 20 AMP circuit. My electrician doesn't believe a double oven only needs 20 AMPS. Who is correct?

A: Hi KitchenReDo - This GE Profile™ 30" Built-In Twin Flex Convection Wall Oven PT9200SLSS operates on 20 Amp as indicated in the Quick Specs at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=PT9200SL_R2_17.pdf- and Installation Guide at the following link: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=31-11109.pdf - Keep in touch at GEAppliances.com - Sue

Q: Would this match a black stainless steel appliance? Is the color dark grey? Does anyone have an actual picture of this double oven?

A: I put this microwave PEB7227ANDD above my oven with the stainless steel built in trim kit. The microwave has the same gray glass. The glass is a gray color on the oven. I think the black stainless steel surround would look nice as well. However the oven has regular stainless steel accents so I would probably stick with regular stainless for my other appliances as well. That’s my preference. I do think it would look ok with the black stainless.

Q: Is the lower oven big enough to roast a 22 lb. turkey?

A: Yes, I have roasted a 22-pound bird in the lower oven with the supplied floor-standing rack. I haven't tried and don't recommend it for a bigger bird though.
