This is one of those products that you root for to succeed. Glorious came to the market with a much improved, 75% format keyboard, with hot swappable keys. Presenting the GMMK 3 Pro.. First impressions upon unboxing this keyboard, I go straight to how solid the build quality is. It feels "premium" with its full aluminum body. The included Glorious Fox switches have the right amount of feel and travel for what I would consider for an enthusiast level gaming session. They give enough resistance for quicker keystrokes without making you wonder if you hit the key or not. They press down very smoothly thanks to its lubricated parts and each key press is tight and snappy. Of course with the keys being hot swappable, you have many options to get the appropriate tactile feedback you are looking for and customize till your heart is content with your favorite key caps of your choosing. This goes back to their branding being labeled as "World's most customizable gaming keyboards". Not only that, but they go as far as allowing for customizing the keyboard flex by having a modular gasket system. Pros: -Windows & Mac compatability with the flip of a switch and it even includes macOS keycaps. -Solid array of RGB lighting shines well enough under the doubleshot keycaps. -Included switches are a solid option for gamers. -Glorious Core software is easy enough to navigate through for customizing your keyboard profiles, selecting polling rate, input latency, lighting options, and key binding features. Cons: -The RGB accent badge came apart in two pieces for me. -My wish is that they offer a full-size keyboard soon.

TLDR - The glorious GMMK 3 Pro is an absolute top tier keyboard, SO solid, great lighting, ok software, but kind of lacks in value? You may be able to make an argument for easily replaceable keys aiding in longevity, and an easily replaceable USB-C cord also. Overall, this is it as far as top tier 75% keyboards go. I’ve used many from many manufacturers, and they all have their pluses and minuses, but this one does stand out. As soon as I felt the heft in my hands after unboxing, I knew Glorious means business with this. (I had to grab my kitchen scale, it was a few oz under 4 lbs., crazy!) I went from a mainstream brands near top 75% keyboard, and the difference was shocking. It's a plastic feather vs this GMMK aluminum beast. The software is probably one of the few nitpicks I have. You do have a decent amount of functionality, but it seems clunky, plus oddly massive for a peripheral software. Luckily there wasn’t much that I needed to do in it. (other than get the lighting to my preference) Customization is obviously top tier with this keyboard, being able to switch keys quickly and easily is awesome, and then having a user replaceable USB-C cable is great considering you’ll want this thing to last a good long time. I get there are boutique products, but the only real negative that I have is the value. I understand the draw of the customization and solid construction, but it seems like you can get 80-85% of this keyboard for 30-40% (or more) less. If cost isn’t an issue with this beast, then go for it!

Absolutely solid built keyboard..... The weight and feel of the metal you can tell that this is a super solid built keyboard. Sits on my desk nicely. Won't move around during crazy game play. Setup was a super easy. Was able to download their software and I was up and running. Plug and play. I plugged it in. Software was super easy to use and set the lighting pattern I wanted. Played a variety of games. Game play was great no lag. Key strokes were nice. Swappable key are a nice function. The keys sit nicely on your fingers and is really comfy. Gotta have comfort for long playing hours. Wired is good so batteries are not a worry. I really hate it when batteries die during game play or use it have to find a charger to connect and it throws me off. A lot of settings for lights and preset options to pick from. A lot of different colors and patterns are available. Lights are nice on the eyes and does not have a glare affect. Super solid buy for gaming. I would strongly recommend for gaming.

The Glorious GMMK PRO 3 custom keyboard is wonderful. It feels premium, its looks premium, and it sounds premium. The keyboard comes in a very nice Apple-like box with little compartments to open and comes wrapped in parchment paper. Included in the box are the keyboard, braided USB-A to USB-C cable, key cap and switch tools, screwdriver, 3 samples of Glorious’ other switch types, and some spare screws. It also includes the needed keys to change it to an Apple compatible keyboard. The keyboard weighs a solid 5 lbs. of aluminum. The back-plate is solid and has a deeply machined GLORIOUS logo in the center. The sides and back are a nicely angled wedge with a flat front. On the back you have a cutout in the wedge for the USB-C cable to connect and a switch to flip the keyboard from Windows to macOS compatibility. The included keys are Glorious Fox linear switches. They have a nice buttery smooth feel to them with a medium resistance to prevent accidental inputs. Each keystroke is stable and rattle-free with no side-to-side play that I could detect. Plus, they’re transparent, allowing the RGB to really pop. Like any high-end keyboard, they are best seen in person so you can feel the keys for yourself. The best I can describe the sound is almost a marble on glass. It’s a very soft sound that makes it a joy to type. They all sound fabulous except the space bar. While it doesn’t sound bad, it has a very different sound which is kind of distracting since it doesn’t sound like the other keys. Glorious did include a couple of their O-Rings which are deigned to go under the keys to shorten and dampen sound to the users liking. I put them on the bottom of the space bar, and it helped. Some may take this as a nitpicky complaint, but when you’re spending $200+ on a keyboard, I feel it's something to pay attention to. The switches are MX-compatible, so you can stick any high-quality brand of key caps on that you wish. Glorious makes many nice sets, including limited editions that come out every month, that can allow you to make the keyboard uniquely yours. They also offer braided curled keyboard cables, different color aluminum top housings, rotary knobs, etc. The included key caps are GPBT Double shot, meaning they are a very dense, dual layered textured plastic. The top layer has a nice texture and helps prevent unwanted shine over time from your skin oil. The denser plastic also gives you a deeper, thonkier sound to each key press. The clear under layer contains the key legends, so they won't scrape off over time while also allowing the RGB light to shine thru. Now to the not so good things. Glorious chose not to include any paper manuals with the GMMK 3 PRO, only QR codes that at the time of this writing do not link to any real web pages. I’m unable to review how easy or hard it is to modify the switch plates, foam inserts, or switches. The key caps themselves pop off easily with the included tools. But that’s about all I can tell you. Glorious also included a link of the prerelease version of their Core 2.0 software for me to install so I could modify settings. About all I could do was adjust the input sensitivity and poling rate for the switches. This is a nice touch for people with accessibility issues, people learning to type and professionals doing data entry, etc. Adjusting the RGB on the other hand was worthless. The only pattern that showed my what it would end up looking like was the Glorious Mode. All the rest were a single red color and didn’t show the pattern. I was better off using the function and arrow key to change the pattern on the fly. Another issue is just the overall function of the software. It provides options for me to adjust how often it checks for updates, if I want it to start with Windows, and even to turn off the keyboard lighting after a certain amount of time of inactivity. NONE of these options work! I had to go into Windows Task Manager to disable Core 2.0 from starting with Windows. No matter what I adjust the RGB would not turn off after any amount of time. It’s just a shame that such a wonderful (and expensive) keyboard is let down by this dumpster fire of a companion app. This is a pre-release version of Core 2.0 that I was provided so hopefully these complaints will be addressed in the near future. However, if you go to places like Reddit, many people do not like the Core 2.0 that has existed for some time already and wish Glorious would bring Core 1.0 back. So, time will tell if anything improves in this regard. Honestly, I just ended up setting my poling and input latency rates and saved them to the 3 profiles and shut down the software. The keyboard has built in memory with a profile switch on the back, so I just use it and the FN + arrow keys to change my RGB. In conclusion this is an ABSOLUTELY wonderful keyboard to start your adventures on custom keyboarding that has to be felt and heard to be appreciated. It's a joy to use… as long as I don’t have to open up the Core software to do anything.
