Q: What is roku and why is it importaqnt?
A: It's a smart tv os that enables you to stream thousands of media platforms and also many other apps on your tv, without use of an hdmi cable.
A: Deb, The Hisense H4 is a ROKU based TV, and the Roku remote is a simple and clean remote without a numeric keypad. However, if you use the feature rich ROKU app on your phone, you can control the TV and have access to a virtual keyboard to dial in to the channel of your choice, and that keyboard comes in handy when searching titles. It has a ton of other great features, too!
Q: Do I need to buy an hd antenna w this tv or is it built in?
A: They are not built in. An external HD Antenna is needed only if you want to watch local over the air broadcasts, as long as they are not too far away. If you have a home Wifi router the best option is to use the Smart TV online.
Q: Can you download apps on this TV. I know some TV s you cant add apps on ?

A: This Roku TV does not have a keyboard to select broadcast channels - but you can access some news channels - no channel up and down - you scroll through the dialogue picture boxes of shows available and press 'OK' to watch - really simple to use.
Q: How long does this TV last and does the remote have a sleep function?
A: I love the Hisense brand, I actually have (2) 40 inch flat screens. My most recent purchase has a sleep function in the app, but not on the remote. You can only set that up after you register the device with ROKU from your phone or computer. Overall for the price, I think Hisense is the best brand on the market today. Again you cant not operate the TV until you register the device with ROKU. Make sure you have access to your email when you set it up. Thanks.

A: Speakers are located on the front under the screen. Fairly good sound.

A: No camera.. No hacking..
