Does the electronic pilotless ignition require plug into a wall socket or is it a battery operated ignition?
Answered by GE AnswersThe electronic ignition does require the range to be plugged into an electrical outlet. However, in power outages, the cooktop burners can be lit with a match and extreme caution. Full instructions are found on page 7 of the manual. Find the manual at Hotpoint's website and search the model number, RGAS200DMWW.
The stove top works fine, but the oven itself isnt getting warm, i checked the igniter, and it does glow red, but its just not getting hot and i smell gas, any idea whats causing this?
