While it is possible to upgrade the RAM on a Desktop yourself, we recommend that upgrades be performed by the IT professionals at your local Best Buy's Geek Squad to avoid installation complications. They can also suggest compatible and available RAM for the upgrade.

A: The AMD Ryzen 7800X3D has an entirely different socket and archtecture than this, so you will not be able to upgrade into that with this model. However, HP offers Omen 45L gaming desktop computers that have AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors pre-installed and you can upgrade those to the 7800X3D at a later date.
