Q: Why was the printer refurbished and what is/are the risks with purchasing a refurbished printer?
A: The printer was probably purchased and returned for whatever reason the buyer says. The main problem from reading the reviews was it jams alot. I found out if you seat the paper holder wrong it will jam every time. Your only risk if it works as it suppose too. Refurbished products are inspected and tested by the manufacturer and are tagged as refurbished that should work like new. Refurbished products usually come with a warranty. Used products that are not refurbished. You are buying as is.
A: Hello and thank you for your question. The HP OfficeJet Pro 8034e does not have a duplex mechanism or a second scan bar built into the Auto Document feeder. This printer will not have the double-sided scan and copy, you would have to flip it manually.
