This is a replacement outer housing only and does not include the internal remote electronics, transponder chip, or battery; transfer your existing electronics and battery from your original fob into the new shell. The included uncut blade can be cut by a local dealer or locksmith, and the old blade can be removed by pressing the fastener on the back side of the cover. Before ordering, confirm your original key matches the shell in shape, appearance, number of buttons, and button locations, and verify the battery compartment on your original key is located at the bottom of the fob, not in the middle.
