A: I love this fan is does make a noise but not so loud you can't talk or hear the tv. Very solid and it reminds me of the old fans both in looks and sound.

Q: I cannot get this fan to tilt up or down. What am I doing wrong?

As indicated on the manual of this product (available on our website), to tilt the fan up and down in an angle requires you to loosen the adjusting knob on the base of the product. Make sure it is not tight, and that you are turning in the correct direction to loosen it.
