I had a cheap 5 dollar reader that was absolutley terrible. Took forever to transfer photos or video. I hooked this bad boy up and it offloaded at the same speed the memory cards advertise. Another plus is it wont break the bank either. Decent reader for a decent price!

We’ll built and works flawlessly. No big bells or whistles but does what you need it to do when you need it done. Reliable unlike Alienware's built in card reader.

I do recommend. It works well, has small footprint and its just plug and play with Windows 10. I built my latest desktop and the case I chose did not have any memory card reader built in and I didnt want to use a 5.25 inch slot. So I decided to try this and it works great. In file explorer it will show the slots as 4 USB drives (drive letters assigned will depend on your system and you can rename each if you prefer). I does not require external power source - just plug it into USB - in my case 3.0. Comes with about a 2 foot 3.0 USB connection able. Speeds aren't blazzingly fast but that can be impacted by your system and your memory card speed. This is small enough to easily travel with. And since it doesnt require external power can be used easily with a laptop. Has 1 year warranty and Insignia is owned by BB, I believe, so returns should be very easy. It is exactly what I was looking for and am very happy with it.

I tend to shy away from private label brands, but this card reader from Insignia doesn't disappoint in the speed department. It works as fast as advertised, providing equal to or faster than the advertised read/write speeds from the CF and SD cards I have tested. If it can last, this will be a handy little card reader.

In today's world of tablets/laptops with minimal ports, this is a handy device. I connect it into my disk farm and can use it to copy SD and microSD disks quickly. It has a slot for each and each slot is assigned its own drive letter. It will also accept CF disks, but I don't have any. I can use the device to copy to/from internal drives on my computers or external drives in my disk farm. It is a USB3 device and I have achieved real-world transfer rates of 50/60 MB/s copying from an internal drive thru this device. YMMV. One use is to transfer data from archival storage onto an internal disk for mobile access. Small enough to throw in a togo bag if needed.

I got this because my computer doesn’t have an SD card reader, which I need to be able to download pictures from my DSLR camera. This product was easy to use for me (someone with average technical skills). It was easy to connect to my laptop, insert the SD card, open a folder to view my pictures and had good transfer speed. I would recommend this product for an average hobby photographer.

My old card reader died and I needed a new card reader for CF cards, since there is not one built into my computer. I also did not want to spend a lot. This card reader is perfect for what I need to read my CF cards. It hooked up to my computer quickly and easily and works like a charm. Highly recommended.

I bought this little USB 3.0 card reader so I could update my Galaxy S9+ microSD card from 64GB to 128GB. It was super easy and fast. I popped out my 64 and inserted it into the MicroSd slot and then put the 128 into the standard SD adapter. I am using Windows 10 on a HP 24" touchscreen computer. I just hit copy and paste and withing 30 mins, it was done and now my phone has a ton more space for pictures I never delete :-) and my downloaded songs from Pandora Premium. Definitely a Best Buy.

The Insignia USB 3.0 Advanced Memory Card Reader works great for the transfer of photo images to my computer. The reader is small and sturdy and easy to set up. Just plug and play. My old reader was USB 2.0 and was just too slow for the large files of today's modern cameras. This one gets the job done, pronto!

O man not too familiar with the brand Insignia, but it has work great so far. And the 3.0 was exactly what I was going for. The cable is to short or long, I think it’s perfect. It feels durable and looks nice. Cable also looks and feels durable. Cards go in easily. I would definitely recommend this to any one.

This product was inexpensive to buy and works with aqll of my memory cards. I use memory cards in my SLR Camera, Panasonic Movie camera, and several other devices. The reader is easy to use and sells for a reasonable price.

I was glad that I found a card reader that would also take CFast cards as well. The prices was good and overall I am happy with the product and speed compared to other cards readers I've used.

I have had several card readers in the past and if this one lasts a long time, it will by far be the best. It is easy to use and works very quickly and very well.

Nice card reader for the price. I got it because the gaming pc I have does not have a card reader and I needed one. Works as advertised.

Does exactly what I got it to do. I had to do a bunch of transferring of files from 2 different MicroSD and SD cards. I appreciate that the reader is USB 3.0 as the cards I have are all rated for read/write speeds greater that anything USB 2.0 can deliver. Setup was as simple as removing it from the box and plugging it in. No driver downloads or software to install, just plug and play. If you need a good card reader and you have fast read/write SD card's I definitely recommend this.
