Q: Can this speaker connect with the JBL flip 6 and 7 like the boombox 3
A: Thank you for your question. Our JBL Boombox 4 and JBL Flip 7 support Auracast feature, which allows them to connect to each other. However, our JBL Flip 6 uses PartyBoost feature instead of Auracast, so it is not compatible with the Boombox 4 and Flip 7 for multi-speaker pairing due to this difference in connectivity technology.

Q: Is this the 4T or 4C version?
A: I think it's a tweener. Doesn't have WiFi, but has the ability for lossless audio via a laptop or another device. Should have WiFi too at this price point. It appears that China has the 2 versions, but we don't. We should have the cheaper 4T model that doesn't have the ability for lossless audio as an option. Some would argue lossless audio is almost useless for a Bluetooth speaker anyway. $499, lol.

A: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Boombox 4 does not support music playback from a USB drive. However, it does support lossless audio playback when you connect it directly to your laptop or other audio device using the USB-C port.
