This architectural speaker features a paintable aluminum grille that provides rust protection when mounted in moisture-prone areas, such as bathrooms, kitchens and saunas. The 1" dome tweeter distributes smooth, clear sound over a wide area.
Q: This cilling speaker may I used as dolby atmos.
A: I am using two of these as the ceiling height speakers in a Dolby Atmos setup and they sound great.
Q: Do these have a bracket mount or simply mount into the drywall ceiling?
A: They mount without a bracket. The speaker itself has mounting arms that extend when screwed in and hold a tight placement against the drywall. It works great. I installed 8 myself.
Q: are these wireless? can you use with your computer/spotify?
A: Not wireless.
Q: Can these speakers be used for a surround sound system including the center channel?
A: Yes, that is how mine are set up. sounds great.
Q: Can these be used as wall speakers? We would use 4 in the upper corners of the room
A: Klipsch offers both in ceiling (like these) and in wall options for most every series of architectural speaker they make. I cant think of a good reason to use an in ceiling in the wall or vice versa unless the space required something out of the norm.
A: No, they are not designed for outdoor use.
A: This will defenitely rock your house. I had 2 out of 4 hooked up in my living room with power coming from a Pioneer VSX-1123 and it rocked my house. With 5 of them the 14Ft ceiling is no match. Most importantly to get the best quality sound will depend on the source and power delivered to them. Weak input means weak output. When properly powered they will rock all night long.
Q: Are these wide dispersion speakers?
A: Yes
