Q: Would this be a good laptop for a college student Wasn't sure if it would have enough memory
A: This will depend on the requirements of the programs the student will be using. The school's web site might provide some direction. Concerning more solid state storage space for this device, there is a Micro-SD card slot that can be used to add up to an additional 128GB of storage space. We recommend you check with the software publishers for the programs that the student will be using, for their compatibility with Windows 10 Home 32-bit operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

A: set up a Microsoft user account and activate the trial. It should last for 1-year rather than the normal 30-day trial.
A: Yes. I got ours for an extra office computer. 5 minutes to set up and anyone can use it. Wifi is fine too.
