Q: does this computer have a dvd or cd player
A: Hi Dave, thanks for your question. Yes the Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i Desktop model # 90NA0001US ships with a CD/DVD RW drive. It will be located on the front of the unit. To access the drive you will slide the front panel to one side.
Q: Does this PC have any SSD mount slots, in case I want to put in a second hard drive/SSD?
A: No, it doesn’t. Also you’d need to get new sata and power cable for your SSD such the psu doesn’t have. I setup one for my business and had to replace the HDD with SSD(2.5) which I shoehorned to the left of the case internally. It can’t also mount to where the HDD was
Q: Anybody know what model of the Intel Graphics card this machine has?
A: The Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i Desktop, model number 90NA0001US, ships with integrated graphics processing within the Intel Core i5-10400 processor. It is the integrated, Intel UHD Graphics 630 version.
A: Hello there. The IdeaCentre 5i desktop model # 90NA0001US features WIFI, Ethernet, and Bluetooth 5.
A: Hello, We apologize for the confusion. The Lenovo IdeaCentre 5i model #90NA0001US does not have PCI-e expansion slots.
A: No. This is a desktop configuration. There is no built in webcam or speakers. You will need to purchase an external webcam and speakers for any desktop configuration computer.
A: Hello Martin. The best option for this desktop is the memory type DDR4-2933 that runs at 2933MHz even though it may run at 2666MHz or 2933MHz depending on the memory support capability of the processor. It is important that you verify the module compatibility with your computer manufacturer before adding it to the device. You can contact the Support Center at the following link: ***https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/*** Thank you for choosing Intel.
Q: what are the 5 slots on front of the tower?
A: At the right of the very top of the front panel is the power on/off button. Below that is first a combo headset/mic 3.5mm port. Next down is a USB-C port. The next two slots down are USB-3.2 ports. Finally, below them, is a SD card reader. The front panel cover slides left-to-right to reveal the DVD burner on the left side. Unfortunately, you must unplug anything plugged in on the right side before you can slide the cover over to expose the DVD burner. You can, however, slide it back over after you insert a DVD and then plug things in again and use the DVD player while things are plugged in. It is kind of a slight design flaw but everything else on this system more than makes up for it in my opinion.
