Lenovo - ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 16" Touch - Screen Laptop - Ultra 5 with 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Black

The Lenovo ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 with an Intel Core Ultra 5 processor is a solid business laptop for everyday productivity. Pros: * Performance: The Intel Core Ultra 5 offers a good balance of performance and power efficiency for daily tasks, web Browse, and media. Integrated Intel Arc graphics are suitable for light photo/video editing and casual gaming. * Display: Options include a bright and clear 16-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) IPS anti-glare display, with an optional vibrant WQUXGA OLED panel available for those needing higher resolution and color accuracy. * Build Quality: It maintains the ThinkPad's renowned robust and durable design, passing MIL-STD 810H tests. * Keyboard & Touchpad: The comfortable ThinkPad keyboard is a highlight for long typing sessions, although the inclusion of a numeric keypad might offset the main typing area for some. The touchpad is reliable and responsive. * Connectivity & Features: Excellent port selection (USB-A, USB-C with Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, Ethernet), Wi-Fi 6E/7, a 5MP webcam with privacy shutter, and robust security features (fingerprint reader, IR camera options). * Upgradability: Features dual SODIMM slots for RAM and user-upgradable SSD, offering good future-proofing. * Thermals: Redesigned cooling system directs airflow to the rear, keeping the laptop and user's hand cooler. Cons: * Portability: At around 3.59 lbs and 0.77 inches thick, it's not the most portable 16-inch laptop. * Numeric Keypad: For some users, the numeric keypad shifts the main keyboard, potentially leading to typing errors. * Battery Life (Mixed): While some configurations offer good battery life (up to 86Wh), others with the smaller 52.5Wh battery might be considered "middling" by some users, depending on usage and display choice. * Display Brightness (Base Model): The base 300-nit WUXGA display might be considered dim by some for bright environments. * Fan Noise: While generally quiet, fan noise can be noticeable under heavy load. Overall: The ThinkPad T16 Gen 3 with Core Ultra 5 is a dependable and capable business laptop, excelling in everyday productivity, build quality, and user experience, especially if you value upgradability and a top-tier keyboard. Consider display and battery options carefully based on your specific needs.

Excellent laptop. It's military-grade, has expandable RAM, and, most likely, won't be damaged if you spill soda on it. And it also has drain ports. It has Windows Pro and Thunderbolt 4. It has a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet Port. HDMI. The ThinkPad T16 Gen Three's HDMI 2.1 port supports 4K resolution at 60Hz. If you spill a large amount of fluid on it, you may not end up with any significant damage; the keyboard remains highly resistant and has drainage ports to protect your computer systems. Really look into it. It's a no-brainer compared to the competitors.

Just what I needed for remote work. Fast and reliable, perfect size also.

The 16" was to heavy and the extra screen size wasn't as important as weight and I also upgraded to a faster computer, but love my 14" ThinkPad,
