Duplex tamper-resistant receptacle for parallel-slotted two-prong plugs. Rated 15A/125V (NEMA 1-15R) and accepting conductors up to No. 10, this outlet features an internal shutter mechanism that blocks access to live contacts unless a plug is properly inserted. Ultrasonic-welded, heavy-duty construction and a shallow body maximize wiring room and provide long service life. TR marking meets the 2008 NEC requirement and the device is UL listed; sold as a single contractor pack.
