Q: Can the 4w solar be used on 2 camera at same time?
A: Nope. It only works for one camera.

Q: does the solar panel work for ring camera's that are battery operated? not plugged in or hardwired
A: I have 7 Ring cameras powered by the solar panels. Just be aware of the placement of the panel, because of the seasonal changes as the sun will be less visible in certain areas. Other than that they are working beautifully. Going on like 7-years now.

Great Solution
Forget battery worries! This solar panel is a game-changer. I can't recommend this solar panel enough for anyone who's tired of remembering to charge batteries or fretting about them dying on the road. The install was incredibly easy – I had it set up in about 10 minutes. Now, I just hit the road knowing my batteries are taken care of. Definitely a must-have!

Solar panels for security cameras
Solar panel we purchased was an excellent choice we made as we don’t have to worry about charging. Colorado already has lots of sunlight which brings peace of mind with respect to charging our securty camera. This was the best option suggested y the geek squad from Best Buy we appreciate their thoughts and honest opinion
