Solid choice for a big TV
Honestly, I was in the market for a 75" TV. I've been looking for a deal on a 120Hz panel with a full local dimming LED array for a while. It seemed all of the 2022 higher-end models slipped away without many close-out deals. I happened to see this TV available nearby as an open-box special at half the usual asking price. I ended up getting an additional $200 off. That made it a great bargain, and I had to take some quick measurements to be sure I had room for the 86". I've always been a fan of the WebOS system and LG Magic remote. The picture is fantastic, especially with 4K content. The setup options are plenty. It does 120Hz with my Xbox X without fuss. It has all the streaming apps I use natively (Fubo, Max, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Disney+, Plex) and you can re-order the apps in the home menu, even assign them to numbers on the remote. The speakers are fine. I have it wall mounted, flush with the wall and I think it sounds better with the sound set to "Stand" instead of "Wall". It has a nice gallery mode with some decent content. The only negative I have for this TV is that it is very heavy. The TV without stand is about 120 pounds, but hey, it's big enough that it gives me close to a cinema feel in my small living room. I'm hoping it lasts for many years. I certainly don't have space for a size upgrade, and this TV has enough tech built in that I probably won't be looking for a feature upgrade in the near future.

Perfect TV and Perfect Fit
After the purchase of our newly built home we knew we wanted to make sure we got the right tv for our living room. We have a floor to ceiling fireplace and had originally decided on a 65” tv. Due to the amount of sunlight this room gets we decided on the LG QNED 80 series. When I went to purchase I saw that the same tv only, only 86” was available and priced a little more than the 65”. I went and measured to ensure the 86” would fit and was ecstatic that it not only fit but looked like it was made for that spot. Since mounting it involved drilling into stone we not only purchased the protection plan but also the installation. So glad we did. The guys who installed our television were amazing. They were fast, efficient and made sure everything was perfect. Being a brand new home it was one of the best purchases we could have made. The tv is obviously very big and unless I had multiple guys, ladders, etc I would not suggest trying to mount this television. The gentlemen who installed it even went as far as setting it up so that we had the best picture possible. Can not say enough great things about the manager who helped me and the guys who did the installation. The television has a beautiful picture and even with a lot of sunlight we have no glare, or issues. This is our 6th LG television in a year (tv’s in every bedroom and loft area) and can honestly say I won’t go with anything other than LG tv’s. Easy to set up, easy to maneuver through apps, and perfect for whatever shows you like to watch. Again, don’t hesitate to pay for the installation. They make it so easy and leave everything clean and neat. Can’t recommend enough!

Worth every penny
This is one of best TV I have ever had. I love watching movies on bigger Screen and loud sound because it makes me feel like I’m watching movies in the theater. I’m so glad I got the 86” because it’s giving me the theater experience at home. The tv is very large, the sound on tv is very good but because I like to feel the vibrations and sounds so loud that’s why I have a sound system attached to it. The picture is quality is exceptional and the viewing angles are very good no matter where you are sitting. You also get options on dimming the brightness of your tv and how dark and light you want your movies to look when watching and the mode you want to watch a movie on. You also have options on how big or small you want the screen to look. There’s no grayscale, you see true colors . You are looking at perfect colors. Grayscale was one of the problem I have on my previous tv. You don’t get to see any true colors. There was always a gray in them making the colors look dull. Overall, I’m really enjoying this theater experience at home.
