A: Yes, the mic attaches via a 3.5mm connector like most audio interfaces. It can easily be attached and removed as desired.
A: Make sure the mute button isn't activated. My daughter had same issue but accidentally hit that button.
A: The Logitech audio driver/G Hub disables all the Windows spatial sound (Atmos/DTS/Sonic). This is a years old issue they haven't fixed. The DTS:X in G Hub sounds terrible & also seems to be broken. Only the Front Left/Front Right virtual speakers output sound. And even though it's supposedly a DTS:X headset it still doesn't work with the DTS Sound Unbound app. Headset hardware is great but the software/firmware is atrocious.
Q: Do these have side tone with PS5?
A: Hey! Side tone cannot be set for PS5 within headset because the side tone can be set for the device using G Hub software. However, you can check the in-game settings for side tone.

Best headset I’ve owned
I’ve had this headset for nearly a year now and it’s fantastic. Great audio, lots of input/output customization available with the Logitech app. I use the headset for both of and ps5 gaming and have had no issues on either. They also perform very well if you just want to relax and use them to listen to music or watch tv (reasonable bass as well). Comes with 2 kinds of ear cups - a soft foamy leather type and then a more fabric type like astros have. I have not tried the fabric ones but absolutely love the leather ones; I can and have worn them through all day game sessions with 0 discomfort. Speaking of all day, the battery is great. I charge them maybe once a week? But I can’t remember the last time they beeped to tell me they were dying. With logitechs I think blue audio filter that you can turn on in the app they also do great blocking out background noise. I typically have my fan on full blast and the people I play with have told me time and again they can’t hear it. All in all great buy and best headset I’ve owned (last 3 headsets I had were the steel series Arctis 7, hyperx cloud alpha wireless and Astro a50s).

A Great Choice for a Gaming Headset
The PRO X 2 LIGHTSPEED is honestly my favorite gaming headset to date, and here's why: Pros: - Sound quality is good for this price range. It's not going to measure up to a set of studio-grade headphones (compared to my Sennheiser and Beyerdynamic headphones), but it's fantastic for gaming and occasional music listening. - It's flexible, sturdy, and lightweight, allowing long periods of use before any headset fatigue. I'm particularly susceptible to head discomfort, and this one fares better than my SteelSeries Arctis and AirPods Max. - The build quality is excellent, and this headset uses quality materials, especially where it counts. It uses a combination of plastic, metal, and ear cup materials. - Switching between USB wireless and Bluetooth is a breeze. The Bluetooth mode works on all my devices, is easy to pair, and works as a fully functional headset. - The battery life is excellent! I rarely need to charge and can even charge while using the device (accepts virtually any USB-C charger). Based on my usage, I may need to charge every 1-2 weeks. However, if you keep them turned off, they hold power. Did I mention they also have an auto-shutdown feature that helps save battery life if you forgot to turn them off? - Boom microphone is completely detachable, and I believe you can even replace it with another 3.5mm mic. - Comes with two different ear cups. The included leather-like and fabric ear cups are nice and comfortable. Cons: - Microphone quality is acceptable and comes through with a slight grain. It also doesn't have built-in voice isolation, so it easily picks up background noise (however, you can mitigate this with software). Still, I haven’t felt the need to replace it yet.

Just great!
Sleek white look, with nice sound settings. I bought this last year (July) and I’m leaving a review just now to give it a 5 star since so far there’s no issues after almost a yr, the sound from the headset is still great, doesn’t hurt on my earlobes after hours of gaming. Lasts for few days without charging. And I love the option of having it wireless.
