Q: It's there a keyboard for this?
A: This does not include a Surface Type Cover. You may have to check other online sources for the type cover. (I found originals, renewed, and 3rd-party versions for sale elsewhere.)
Q: Can the software be upgraded on this Tablet?? And if so how much??
A: Officially a Surface Pro 4 can't be upgraded since it lacks the hardware specs, but the one I received is a Windows 11 Pro machine. (Upgrading these to Win11 seems to be a standard thing that refurbishers do.)

Would not charge when it arrived. Had to be plugged in for some 24 hours before the battery 'woke up' and started charging. From information in the device manager it appears that the initial install was in April of 2024. Arrived with Windows 11 Pro installed, which was a bit of a surprise since it's described as a Windows 10 Pro machine. (Not a major issue, refurbishers putting Win11 on these appears to be a standard.) Arrived with the Windows recovery environment (RE) disabled. (After finding that the RE was present I enabled it. The RE contains Windows 11 Pro.) While there were some stumbling blocks to overcome, this is working out to be a decent replacement for my original Surface Pro 4, whose battery is quite tired.

It was super easy to set it up and get it ready for use. I feel confident in traveling with it and being able to use Wi-Fi to work online for school and work.
