I've only had my new Miele induction cooktop for a week, but it's great so far. My prior electric cooktop kept cycling on & off so I had no control over the heat. Problem now solved. I think inductions also cycle, but you can't tell. I was expecting a big learning curve along with buzzing sounds and other annoyances but have experienced none of that. Very happy.
