Absolutely love this wireless CarPlay adapter! Setup was super simple—just plug it in and pair it once, and now it connects automatically every time I start my car. No more dealing with cables! Ugh, of course, this is on a great sale just weeks after I bought mine at $50! Oh well. Anyway, bully for you! Snap this gadget up while it's on sale if it is! This works much better than I expected! I expected it to be a rip-off piece of junk I'd regret buying given the clumsy marketing graphics, but it does the job! My car (a 2024 Ioniq 5) has a built-in Qi charger, so plugging my phone in directly and placing it on the charger felt completely backward. PLEASE NOTE: Be sure to delete your phone as a device from your car's connected devices in the car's infotainment (ugh, clumsy portmanteau) settings. I forgot to do that and instead kept trying to tell my phone's Bluetooth settings to "forget" my car, but my car refused to "forget" my phone and it kept fighting with the Bluetooth to play its not-Carplay version of the Bluetooth connection instead of the USB's Carplay version. I felt like a mediator in a messy divorce until I realized I needed to spotless-mind my car. There was a moment of uncertainty when my phone wanted to verify the connection with the adapter with a six-digit code, which was not displayed. I was able to accept the connection and move through, but it did give me a second to think, am I sending all of my data to a mysterious corporation that will use that data for nefarious purposes? As hyper-normalization goes, my next thought was, yes, that happens to me all the time and I cannot prevent it. The adapter looks a little bit like an inhaler which I feel is appropriate since it's kind of like my car has asthma. My car was supposed to be able to do wireless CarPlay on its own, but no, it turns out that's only specific Hyundai models with a different navigation system from mine. So, okay, instead of doing something drastic and paying thousands more dollars for a different model, I got this little adapter guy which can help my somewhat stunted but still very impressive car perform as seemingly advertised. Plus, my dear departed father was big on modifying/replacing car radios, so this helps me feel slightly closer to him. ANYWAY! If you're looking for a quick and easy solution and have gotten used to the ever-present feeling of being watched and recorded, this little adapter should work well for you. If you're looking for what feels like a more secure way of getting your car to do wireless CarPlay, I mean, good luck to you. There might be something fancier but less convenient out there that, I dunno, requires dual authentication every time you use it or something... just to help provide the illusion of security... There is a little bit of lag on button-pressing occasionally, and it very rarely skips an aural beat, but overall, I'm impressed and grateful to Best Buy for providing this option. If Best Buy lets me edit to add pictures I'll do that later. There's a little blue (should be working) or red (connected/not in use) light on the adapter. The little light is less obnoxious than the glowing empty USB slot, so I dunno, I guess I'm gonna let it shine, y'all. (You could probably cover it up with duct tape or something if it bothers you.)

I had looked for a CarPlay adapter for a long time. Almost all of them come from brands I've never heard of and had questionable reviews. I bought this one because I randomly had a gift card I needed to use. I will say I'm pleasantly surprised. I've had zero issues with this adapter, and my phone connects to it automatically every single time. Obviously, your phone's battery is going to be reduced when you use a wireless adapter, but other than that, it's been great. Sometimes when I'm on calls, some people have reported that my voice sounds a little choppy, so if I'm going to be talking to somebody for a long time, I usually just plug in my phone.

This works great. It's an inexpensive way to add wireless carplay. I use it in my 2024 Ford Maverick. Using this adapter has been more reliable in my truck than the wired connection. There are occasional times where the carplay loading screen will get stuck, but unplugging and plugging back in typically clears it. I suspect this is more the vehicle because I would need to reconnect the wired connection even more frequently than the adapter. My phone would often overheat using the wired connection and it has not done this yet when connected to the wireless adapter.

Works as planned. Be sure to delete your phone from car list before connecting or it will not stream. I bought 3 of these.
